I was lucky enough to own both a great Hard Puncher and fretless Tokai 'Jazz sound' jazz bass. Check out the Tokai registry website, but I'd guess yours is maybe an 83/84 one. I worked it out from the serial number & the logo shape.

Here is the original info from the original Post. The only change is is no longer has wizard pickups, i replaced with Seymour Duncans, which really enhance the sound. I bought this back in March from one of our fellow Bass Chatters.
